My Campus Closet is a retail clothing company started in Corvallis, Oregon just a few shorts minutes away from Oregon State University. It is a family owned business which was started by Michelle Fuchigami and her daughter Dianni in 2013. Both Michelle and her daughter attended and graduated from Oregon State University and together combined their love for fashion and turned it into a business.
My Campus Closet is a combination of the latest trends in fashion, collegiate, and vintage collegiate collections.
When asked where the name came from, Michelle answered. "I have always wanted to start my own business, ever since I was a little girl. When my daughter began her journey at Oregon State, my desire for owning my own business began to grow more and more." Michelle envisioned having a retail store in the same space that she had worked at in college. The store back then was called The Closet.
My Campus Closet is a place where you can go to find everything you need for your very own closet. The name itself was chosen so that college students could depend on a brand that is focused solely on them and their fashion needs. When asked what this fashion looks like, Dianni answered. "Our sole purpose as a brand is to provide our customers with everything they could want in their own closet. We want to be a place they can come to and find what they are looking for. We focus on providing the latest trends as well as collegiate apparel and every day basics so that our customers will have everything they need when attending college.
My Campus Closet is currently expanding online to all Pac-12 Schools and they hope to expand to more schools in the near future so stay tuned!
